Whether you dance East Coast, West Coast, or both, there’s something for everyone!
About The Swing Lesson and Social Dancing
Jonathan Lindsey will teach a mix of East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop, introducing both six-count and eight-count patterns. Tina French will cover the basics of West Coast Swing. Both lessons are designed for all levels, giving dancers moves they can put to use immediately when the social dancing begins.
Music
There will be music that you can swing to, West Coast to, or both. DJ Valerie takes requests!
Age Range
The age range is typically from people in their twenties to fifties, with a skew towards the younger range.
About The Cove Swing Club – Located Inside King Charles Plumbing Heating & Air

The Cove Swing Club is hosted in the warehouse of a fellow swing dancer with an HVAC business. Look for the King Charles signage and red light. The venue features 1,000 square feet of dance floor plus an additional 600 square feet of lounge space.
Food and Drinks
There is free, filtered water right out of taps! There’s a convenience store close by and a few restaurants within two miles.
Air Conditioning
Yes. Currently a 5 ton AC, being upgraded to a 10 ton AC. The owner of the space owns an HVAC company and he swing dances – he knows just how important cool air is. Lucky us! It’s literally the coolest place in town!
Parking
Parking is plentiful, free, and located all around the property.
