Get ready for Wednesdays with a rockabilly swing night! This is the only weekly event of its kind, bringing rockabilly music and swing dancing to the Westside of the Valley. Held at The V Spot in downtown Glendale, the evening includes an East Coast Swing lesson followed by social dancing.
About the Lesson and Social Dancing
You’ll learn East Coast Swing moves in the lesson, and then get to see a variety of different dances like Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa, Blues, and Boogie Woogie during the social dance portion of the evening. Check out Westside Swing’s Instagram for more information.
Music
The music is created by live DJs who play a range of rockabilly and swing music from the 1920s to the 1960’s, with a mix of fast and slow tempos. From rockabilly to boogie woogie to big band to blues, the DJs work hard to bring you the best variety of swing music and welcome requests.
Age Range
The V Spot Sports Grill attracts dancers in their age range from twenties to fifties on up!

The V Spot features a spacious open dance floor with room for social dancing and seating around the edges, making it easy to watch, relax, or jump into the next song. If you need a break from dancing, there’s wall-to-wall big screens, a full made-to-order menu, daily specials, and a family-friendly atmosphere — all minutes from State Farm Stadium and Westgate.
