Saturday Morning Swing returns with a fresh format and a new location, focusing on fundamentals, kinetic movement, and musicality. This two-hour Lindy Hop dance lesson is great for beginners and experienced dancers alike, designed to help everyone grow their skills, refine their lindy hop and roots jazz movement, and develop their unique voice. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy donuts and whisky while you learn!
About The Lesson
The Lindy Hop lesson has two parts: Hour one is Lindy Hop fundamentals and hour two is Lindy Hop variations. The skill level for each class is dependant on the skill level of the attendees. So even if all the attendees are advanced dancers in the first hour, you’ll still get a lot out of the fundamentals class.
Music
Swing music from the 1900s to the 1940’s, with a mix of fast and slow tempos.
