DESCRIPTION:Let’s dance!\n7:00 PM – 8:15-ish PM\nSolo jazz lesson by Jonathan Lindsey\n\n\n$10. No partner required! Age 18+\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGet ready for an hour of seriously fun jazz movement. You’re gonna sweat\, push your body in the best way\, and have an awesome time doing it. Solo jazz is at the heart of everything we do in partner jazz and swing — Lindy Hop\, Balboa\, Shag\, all of it. It comes from Black culture and carries that grounded\, rhythmic\, earthy feel that makes jazz… well\, jazz. Whether you’ve been dancing forever or you’re just starting out\, this class will give you a good challenge and a good workout. It’s fun\, it’s energizing\, and it just feels great.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is Solo Jazz?\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nAbout The Cove Swing Club – Located Inside King Charles Plumbing Heating & Air \n \n\nA fellow swing dancer with an HVAC business opened his warehouse to his fellow swing dancers\, so look for the King Charles signage and red light. The floor space is 1000 sq. ft. with an additional 600 sq. ft. of lounge space.  \n  \nFood and Drinks\nThere is free\, filtered water right out of taps! There’s a convenience store close by and a few restaurants within two miles. \n  \nAir Conditioning\nYes. Currently a 5 ton AC\, being upgraded to a 10 ton AC. The owner of the space owns an HVAC company and he swing dances – he knows just how important cool air is. Lucky us! \n  \nParking\nParking is plentiful\, free\, and located all around the property. The venue has 30 parking spots with overflow parking on the street.  \n  \nDance Guidelines\n\nFrequently wash/sanitize hands during the event\nDo not attend if you are experiencing COVID symptoms\, feel sick\, or have been exposed. Help us keep the community healthy; stay home when not feeling well! \nRemember\, NO always means NO. Keep in mind that more people than usual may want to limit the number of partners they dance with in an evening.
