It’s a special edition of Swingin’ Lindy Hop Mondays! Elevate your dancing with an hour-long workshop led by the incredible Todd Yannacone, focusing on triple-step variations to add more flair to your moves. Following the workshop, new dancers can join a beginner Lindy Hop class, and then everyone can enjoy three hours of social dancing. About Todd Yannacone
Todd Yannacone is a distinguished figure in the world of dance. He has taught Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag, Charleston, Vernacular Jazz, and other jazz era dances both nationally and abroad since he was 16. His love and appreciation for various forms of swing dancing allow him to bring innovative versatility to the dance floor while simultaneously respecting the roots of each dance. A proud member of the Camp Hollywood Hall of Fame and two time California Swing Dance Hall of Fame inductee, Todd holds a myriad of championship titles from the International Lindy Hop Championships, European Swing Dance Championships, American Lindy Hop Championships, U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships, National Jitterbug Championships, Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown, Lone Star Championships – to name a few. He has been interviewed for Swing Dancer Magazine, “The Track” podcast, and various other publications. His demand as an instructor, performer, and judge has taken him to hundreds of festivals spanning 32 countries and five continents. Todd specializes in connection and musicality, which is apparent every time he steps on the dance floor. He has worked with dance and music legends alike – from Frankie Manning to Aretha Franklin – and was a member of the acclaimed dance troupe, the Silver Shadows.

About The Lesson and Social Dancing
You’ll learn Lindy Hop moves in the lesson then the social dancing starts immediately after the lesson ends. You’ll see a variety of different dances on the dance floor, including the Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Shag, Balboa, Charleston, and Blues.
Music
The music is created by live DJs who play a range of swing music from the 1900s to the 1940’s, with a mix of fast and slow tempos. From big band to blues, the DJs work hard to bring you the best variety of swing music and welcome requests.
Age Range
The average age at Guild of the Vale is teens through 70’s. A huge age range comes out and dances here!
About Guild of the Vale

Step into the Guild of the Vale and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time – this historic building looks like a castle on the outside, and has a 1,400 sq. ft. fast wood floor and a stage on the inside. The vintage feel is truly unforgettable! The venue is still in the same historic building it has always been in, but with a new name.
