DESCRIPTION:Let’s dance!\n6:00 PM – 7:00 PM\nBeginner DragBlues lesson with Dabney \n7:15 PM – 8:00 PM\nBeginner Lindy Hop lesson with Dabney \n8:00 PM – 11:00 PM\nSocial dancing to live music\n11:00 PM – 12:00 AM\nSlow Blues dancing\n$20 early bird or $30 at the door/credit card\nNo partner required! All ages welcome\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBeginner DragBlues and Lindy Lessons start off your Monday with live music\, a free Mix & Match contest\, and late-night Blues dancing. This special evening features live music by Richard Bogen’s All-Natural Fig Preserves with special guest vocalist Erin Lindsey. There will also be a free open Mix & Match dance contest around 9PM—enter as an individual lead or follow\, rotate partners throughout the contest\, and be judged individually\, with sign-ups at the door. To wrap up the night\, the lights will dim from 11 PM to midnight for an hour of slow Drag Blues and Soul music. It will be an incredible night for dancing\, live music\, and the Phoenix swing dance community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSwing out at Guild of the Vale!\n What the lesson is like \n What the social dance is like \nBeginner Lindy Lesson + Live Music\nThe Beginner Lindy Lesson is perfect for first-time dancers before an evening of live music\, social dancing\, and late-night Blues. You’ll learn Lindy Hop moves in the lesson then the social dancing starts immediately after the lesson ends. You’ll see a variety of different dances on the dance floor\, including the Lindy Hop\, East Coast Swing\, Shag\, Balboa\, Charleston\, and Blues. \n  \nMusic\nLive music with Richard Bogen’s All-Natural Fig Preserves with special guest vocalist Erin Lindsey. Then at 11PM\, we slow it down with Slow Blues to DJ’d music. It is going to be an incredible night!  \n  \nAge Range\nThe average age at Guild of the Vale is teens through 70’s. A huge age range comes out and dances here! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nAbout Guild of the Vale\n \nStep into the Guild of the Vale and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time – this historic building looks like a castle on the outside\, and has a 1\,400 sq. ft. fast wood floor and a stage on the inside. The vintage feel is truly unforgettable!
