Whether you’re building your solo jazz vocabulary or looking to practice alongside other dancers in a relaxed setting\, it’s a fun way to explore historic routines while enjoying free coffee and tea. You’ll see a variety of different dances on the dance floor\, including the Lindy Hop\, East Coast Swing\, Shag\, Balboa\, Charleston\, and maybe some Blues. \n  \nMusic \nThe music is created by live DJs who play a range of swing music from the 1900s to the 1940’s\, with a mix of fast and slow tempos. From big band to blues\, the DJs work hard to bring you the best variety of swing music and welcome requests.  \n  \nAge Range\nThe average age at Guild of the Vale is twenties and above. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nAbout Guild of the Vale\n \nStep into the Guild of the Vale and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time – this historic building looks like a castle on the outside\, and has a 1\,400 sq. ft. fast wood floor and a stage on the inside. The vintage feel is truly unforgettable!
